56 Hope was born from the hearts and minds of Eric Sajo and Brian Cruz. After recording demo songs that gained radio popularity on Guam, they soon recruited Ricky Borja and Francis Ogo with Rob San Agustin completing the lineup in 2007. Drawing inspiration from their cultural upbringing, life experiences and the vibes of roots and island reggae, 56 Hope’s music is diverse sonically and lyrically. They classify their sound as Guam Roots Music to give tribute to both their Island roots and also the roots music artists that have come before them. Their first full length album was released in late 2007 and was welcomed by the eager fans of both reggae, island music and music in general. Never content to be satisfied in their musical evolution, they are now at work on material for their next greatly anticipated second full length album
